The age old issue with creative projects is now applied to web development! You hire a web developer who has the best of intentions and you are thrilled with the possibilities… but somewhere along the way the vision gets lost, deadlines are missed, emails responded to too late, and at the end of the day– everyone is just relieved the project is over. Meanwhile, no one comes away with a result they dreamed of.
After experiencing this ourselves, we paused,  “there’s got to be another way!” So, with that determination and our values at the helm, we rolled up our sleeves and did what any creative would do– we started testing ways to do things differently.
What we’ve landed on is our PENN method– it streamlines the project development process and allows space for the spirit of your business to resonate throughout our work together.
Rather than a strict linear process, we define this method in three modes: Curation, Collaboration, and Creation. Our method is to move intuitively between these modes to ensure the best things about your business are front and center.

  • Curate: We start with the message… and we realize it’s not just about words on a page or a picture that represents any business. With that in mind, we mine your very best and brightest content. We revisit these treasures as the project continues to ensure that we are showing your absolute best– so that your business shines!
  • Collaborate: We pull in your champions, the people who know your business best. We ask for their input so we can include a wide perspective. We pull in our best as well– our village of experts in across several disciplines (link)– people we trust to bring their magic to the table!
  • Create: We look for ways to reflect the content and the collaborative effort in the design. Rather than making your company fit our design, the design grows from the business itself. Your company’s mission, values, and story are the source of inspiration!
