We are watching what is happening in our country.  There is hurt. There is fear.  There is violence. There is conflict.  We are taking this moment to reflect on the ways we interact with our neighbors, friends, and family – and to amplify the voices of those in trauma.

Pennant Creatives provides services for a variety of people, businesses, and organizations.  A core value of ours is to listen.  We have been listening a lot lately – and most urgently now due to the horrible murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery – and all in the Black community who were so wrongly killed, hurt, or oppressed.  Pennant welcomes everyone who themselves are welcoming to all.

And to those who actively discriminate based on age, culture, disabilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status: we urge, pray, and demand for them to open their hearts and to live with empathy.

We seek peace, we pray for peace.  But until we resolve the injustice in our citizen-funded justice system and the incitement of hatred (or the silence in its presence) of our elected representatives we understand that our country will never have peace.  Not during these times of active protest, and not during the times when our focus is on other matters.

Today, and always, Black Lives Matter.

We are committed to anti-racism causes and activism in our own community and industry – we plan on engaging even more in the future.

Below are the resources we posted on our social media on this day.
