After 11 incredible years as the founder and principal web designer, developer, and graphic designer at Pennant Creatives (and before that C. Breimhurst Media Co.), the time has come for me to say goodbye. This decision wasn’t easy, but as I reflect on over a decade of growth, challenges, and achievements, I know it’s the right time to move forward.
When I first started this journey, I had a vision to not only build websites but to create brands, identities, and digital experiences that connected deeply with audiences. I poured my heart into every design, every development project, and every logo, with one goal in mind: helping businesses and organizations tell their stories visually and functionally.
As both a designer and developer, I had the unique privilege of blending creativity with technical expertise. I wore many hats—from branding to web development—and the variety kept me constantly inspired. Whether it was crafting the perfect user experience or ensuring seamless backend functionality, every project challenged me to push boundaries.
In those 11 years, the company grew year after year – even through the pandemic. Together with clients and an incredible team, we built platforms, launched brands, and told stories that mattered. I’m especially proud of how we evolved with the times, integrating new technologies, updating our services, and continuously refining our design philosophy.
But perhaps the most rewarding part of my journey was the relationships I built—relationships with clients and collaborators. It was these connections that made each project meaningful, and it’s these connections that I will cherish the most.
As I step away from Pennant, I do so with immense pride, knowing that the foundation we built is strong and capable of continuing to grow in the hands of Dana the Dreamer. While I may be moving on to new adventures, the lessons learned, the experiences shared, and the passion for human-centered design will stay with me forever.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. I look forward to whatever comes next, knowing that the skills, relationships, and memories from Pennant will always guide me.
